Due to high activity in Ramboll Oil & Gas's department for steel structures in Esbjerg we seek a senior engineer for detailed design and
assessment of jacket structures.
Organisation
Our department employs 60 specialists and is a part of the Oil & Gas division in Esbjerg. We handle design and assessment of large steel structures, typically jackets, topsides modules, FPSO modules and bridges for the international offshore market.
Job description
Your primary tasks will be within design and assessment of jackets:
• Global analyses for e.g. wave load and ship collision, including advanced pushover analyses
• Installation analyses e.g. lifting, transportation, loadout, on-bottom stability, etc.
• Reinforcement of jackets
• Design of secondary and temporary steel such as mudmats, lifting points, caissons, j-tubes, etc.
• Preparation of project documentation
• Project management
Your profile
We expect that you:
• Hold a master of engineering or a Ph.D. , possibly including offshore related courses
• Have a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience with similar tasks
• Possess strong analytical abilities and a desire to engage in the development of our technical capabilities
• Have good English skills, as our corporate language is English
• Have good communicative skills, both written and oral
As a person you have a positive mind towards changes and challenges. You possess good interpersonal skills as you will be a key player within multidisciplinary project teams, where the ability to cooperate with other professions is crucial.
